Yeah, that seems about right
Bugger. My hosting service appears to have changed my password again and I can't update my site. Why can't they leave well alone? [stab] I'm beginning to think they do this if I don't update regularly; maybe it's a misguided security precaution. Not that it matters much; the story has extremely limited appeal containing as it does only traces of Avon. [sigh]
This has been a crappy day: wet, thundery, and I forgot to buy stuff I needed from the supermarket and it was too horrible to go out again. It was enlivened only (and very well too!) by playing on the B7 RPG and chatting on Yahoo with the players. I need comfort and I have no chocolate. I shall have to resort to toasted cheese sandwiches and Rome.
In the meantime, have a link to the Minnie's latest B7 photomanips - five B7 AUs - if you haven't already seen them! The 'City' one is particularly lovely; Vila's expression is just perfect.

I'd be livid if they changed my password even once. I suggest you phone them tomorrow and demand an explanation. Phone works better than email because they can't ignore you. If the person who answers doesn't know, ask to speak to someone who does.

I can see why you like it.

Oh, c'mon, I want to read it. (sends encouraging vibes in your direction)

You'll have to wait till I can put it on the web unless you want me to e-mail it, but it's Dayna and Og. I think I have a readership of two for that.

Someone told me it was hacked recently; that might be why I can't get at it though they fixed it straight away.

This sounds like the kind of thing readers demand to know about before beginning a story. Warning: contains character death and traces of Avon . I suggest you give the story a title like "Avon Away", so that your potential readers don't immediately realise what you're up to, and rely on them getting so gripped by the story that they finish it anyway. A change of diet is good for people.

Bah to your hosting service!! Changing your password under any circumstances is out of order.
I hope that cheese and Rome have helped, and that tomorrow will be better.

Avon the peanut, yes. Absolutely scrumptious to some; cause of severe allergic reactions in others :)

Mind you, at the minute I'm trying very hard to finish my FC story, 6300 words in and a mess, so I may have to do something small and sweet to toss in tomorrow while I get there...
So reading needs to wait while writing gets done.

I look forward to reading yours. :-)

As for the FC party - all the people who commented on my story are on LJ. The people who commented on entropy_house's story are the same five people on LJ who comment on everything. Min's hilarious photomanips got a better reaction, but still - the same five people who comment on LJ. My sense of the FC list is that writing for it is like dropping a stone into a bottomless pit.

Thank you :)
Im so glad you were happy with the 'city' pic :) I had you in mind when I started it :)
And thanks again for being the only place I could find the 'right' pictures to use!

I love the Avon and Cally ones too; Cally is wonderful and Avon's such a dork.

I never did sign up to FC, so I'll have to wait until next week.
