I know we're very behind on SG1 here, but I just saw the episode Citizen Joe. ROTFL! It out-metas Love and Monsters and it has Dan Castellaneta! I usually hate clip shows but yay! I love how they poked fun at some of the less successful eps and had Joe go into a major depression when Daniel died. Brilliant stuff and as good as the wonderful and equally meta Wormhole Xtreme. :-D

As clip shows go, Love and Monsters was pretty good. I particularly liked the revelation about Jack's visions.

They've just dropped the price of the box sets over here, so I bought 3 and 8, but had to borrow 7 off a friend as I've hardly seen any of it. Great show.

I must look up the eps they dissed; I'm hopeless at episode names.

I love SG1. I didn't watch it for ages because I didn't like the film much, but someone lent me a tape of the one where Jack and Tealc keep looping in time ad I was hooked. That ep remains one of my favourite along with Citizen Joe and Wormhole Xtreme. The characters are great and I love Jack's dry wit.
