Tynus sighting

Yes, I know, these are probably old hat to the British Blake's 7 fans who know all these old series, but I'm having fun recognising B7 cast in the wonderful old programs of the same vintage I've been watching lately.

Spotted tonight was Ronald Lacey (Tynus) in the superb Porridge as 'horrible 'Arris, the sort of guy who gets thieves a bad name. Does he specialise in slimy characters, I wonder?

Reckon so. He ended up as the baby-eating Bishop of Bath and Wells in Blackadder 2 (he'd put on a fearful amount of weight by then).

At a B7 vid party I hosted, I switched off at the end of Killer and saw the baby eating bishop on UK Gold.

Oh dear... I now have a disturbing vision of the baby-eating Bishop of Bath and Wells, red-hot poker twitching in hand, intoning "I am a colossal pervert" while snogging Avon. I may never work again.

Avon, of course, is used to snogging power mad types (probably even those who can speak and snog at the same time.) He'd go for a strategic grope, then at the last minute whip the poker from BEBoBaW's hand and crack him on the bonce with it. Then he'd say something clever and mildly annoying. It's a mini pervert adventure! :-)

Oh, thanks. As if the BEBoBaW wouldn't crack me up already, now I have *this* to consider...

He was very plump in this; much more so than Tynus.
