Spectral analysis thingy

I got this from trixieleitz (who has a solid blue square) and thought I'd see what happened. I got a series of green Vs.

They say:

When a friend views your analysis on their LiveJournal friends list, the graphic will automatically alter to show them what influence they exert on you.

What happens is that once you have your own, you see a combination of yours and theirs beside theirs. It's very slow to load though, I suppose because it's working out the combo.

Yours is much more interesting than mine.

It's annoying that that site is so slow. From what they say, it only does the combo on friends list view. I can see both of our squares in comment view, but I don't know if that's because my browser has cached it. [reloads] Yup, it had. It's just your square now.

Anyway, the implication of that is rather annoying - it'll slow loading of everyone's friends view (unless they have image placeholders on), but if one puts it behind a cut, it won't work. Bah.

btw, the GIMP help installation worked. It seems to essentially be a set of HTML documents, and GIMP opens it either in your default web browser or in its own browser. You can tell it which to use in Preferences, under Help System.

Yeah, I thought that too. I think the image just won't load if it's slow.

You've got a much better one than me! Mine's mostly just plain purple. A nice colour, mind, but not very interesting. Hmm, maybe it's trying to tell me something. :-)

I have no idea how it works. Our two combined are quite nice though: green and purple. Just like my gondolas!
