It certainly is in winter. White seems more popular here in summer and I've been given a couple of bottles of champers. It's certainly more refreshing in the heat and I like rosé too; it has a bad rep it's just shaking off. However if the weather's like today (cool, windy, wet), a good robust red'll do the trick!
