Oggy Oggy Oggy! Oi Oi Oi!

Bwahaha, have the B7 fans seen the picture for day 11 on the Blake's 7 advent calendar?

[livejournal.com profile] steverogerson, you're a star!

Also, the picture of Dr. Kayn proves my point of DUCT TAPE BEING AN ESSENTIAL FASHION ACCESSORY.

On thinkgeek.com (http://www.thinkgeek.com/) they have a wallet made of it (http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/5f21/). I was tempted. Damn. If it's the Official Wallet of the Imperial Storm Troopers (http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/5f21/images/1350/) I might have to get it.

Ahem. I already ordered a spud trooper (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/7cd4/) to go with my Darth Tater.

Spud Trooper? Oh, no! ::mistral hides credit card::

I know! I couldn't resist him when I saw him. :-D

I saw that wallet, and WAS SO TEMPTED:). But I resisted.

But let's not talk about the Hellish Moneyhole That is H&M. La la la la...

Your header frightened me. I thought it might show a rugby player but the reality was far less revolting!

Never! I loathe thugby.

It's Simon who picks the pictures, but that was such a romantic moment I'm not surprised he picked it.

Wobbly pronunciation of "true love!":D

Interesting: for your info, I could see the first link but not the second (ie it read "Bwahaha, have the B7 fans seen the picture for day 11 on the ?"). So I was able to click straight through to this... er... remarkable picture.

It's something to do with links. When you first mentioned the Advent calendar, I looked it up using the URL [livejournal.com profile] steverogerson mentioned on the lists, and that still works for me. But I've just noticed that if I try to get at it via Louise & Simon's home page, the Advent calendar link is invisible to me there, too - it just says "All these questions will be answered in the next 25 days here: " (and nothing shows up if I try highlighting the section, either). As far as I can tell, I can see all the other links on that page, so it's something about that particular link.

I suspect your browser doesn't like apostrophes in links. I went back and looked at Steve's and he had one too. I've removed it from mine. Can you see it now?

No. I hadn't seen anything about it on Steve's LJ, but then I suppose I wouldn't. I can get at it through the URL he quoted on the lists, so I think it must be something in the extra html. I gather from a discussion on L&S's site that I'm not the only one affected, and in that discussion they keep saying "This is the link" and nothing shows up. But if you remember, I tried creating links to it myself, and they were invisible to me too. I can't remember what words I used but I don't think they involved any apostrophes, nor does the URL itself. I wonder if it's something to do with the ending "cgi" (which doesn't appear in the URL of the single pic you linked to above, and I can see that OK).

It doesn't really matter, it's just a puzzle.
