Tessa

Tessa goes to the vet tomorrow to have her teeth scaled and possibly a couple removed. I'm scared. And if you think I'm neurotic, I lost a dear cat, Sigi, in those circumstances; no one knew she had a weak heart. Tessa doesn't, but as the vet said, there's always a danger with any anaesthetic.

I'm off to bed early with her because she's already looking for the water she can't have till afterwards, poor little thing.

Yeah, I've seen the vet do it. I try to do the same, but the girls get better at faking it then spitting the pills out each time. The liquid one I have for Tessa is clavulox which I was told to put in the fridge; she took it and the painkiller really well today. Vic's the only one who'll eat clavulox (sp?) pills in food, but you think we can get a worm pill down him any way at all? We have to go with the paste. Sigh. I used to pill them fine when they were kittens.

Cats. Argh.
