Minnie used the Balinese palace pic I sent her, so now Vila and his Royal Mounties are in a suitably palatial setting in the tropical paradise of Gardenos. He's warm, comfortable, safe, and very pleased with himself.

That's me on the left and Minnie (as a blonde) on the right. No, my hair's not that long and yes, my hed is pastede on yay.

Those smart black-and-white tiled jobbies, you mean? Nah, didn't suit the decor. Real diamonds are a bit hard on the feet, plus they make everyone all underlit like they're telling horror stories. Much better as negotiable currency.

No one *buys* palaces these days... we could turn it into a hotel and casino and fund the rebellion quite well off a percentage of the profits.

Those aren't profits, Avon, those are operating costs. Don't think I wouldn't notice you double-dipping. If you're eager to go back to embezzling, target an industry that doesn't aid the rebellion.

The Mississippi Delta casino is just down river, and the hotel is that elegant structure by the lake with all the private cabins in the gardens. I could do you two a nice like cabin by the water. I'll get my people to set it up. Avalon uses several as safe houses.

But Vila, palaces don't run themselves. Someone has to polish the floors, whether diamond or not, and fix the roof and keep the drains running sweetly. You need your property to produce an income.

I had to give up on trying to catch up on the actual RPG many moons ago, I haven't a clue what the situation is there, but the above was very funny.

This is an AU to the RPG since the 'real' Vila is on the Mumak with his Kerril, and Blake and Avon have left. It'd be easy enough to pick up again, esp now we don't play as much. The crew is now Vila, Kerril, Cally, Stark, and Travis (a clone of the second one) with Soolin, Tarrant, a sentient mole, and a teleporting dog making occasional guest appearances. :-P
