Back again!

I haven't posted for ages due to RL including losing one of the cats after a long illness.

However there is a current friending meme, and I've made a few overtures in the hopes of finding more. Reading people's lists of the sort of things they post has made me think about writing more about the things I do, read, and watch. And yes, I should also post some of the many photos I take though it's a bit of a rigmarole. Is there an easy hack?

I've found that since Covid lockdown (and the closure of a local cafe where I'd run into people I knew)  I've withdrawn a lot, but this is the introvert's friendly place and I have to get back into it.

It was sweet Sebastian. He had heart disease: big-hearted in both senses.

Oh, I remember little moments about Sebastian for many years! {hugs} And I know how hard it is too lose them after many years.

My sympathies on your loss, I lost my K'zin the same way a couple of years ago. It doesn't exactly get better, but it does get easier eventually.

It has, though I still occasionally expect to see him in my chair. I couldn't have posted right after it happened.

I miss all of my previous cats.

Very sorry to hear about Sebastian. Abby is stamping about in my lap and I'm sure she sends her love to you all. She's supposed to have a heart murmur, but so far this has caused no trouble apart from the expense when the vets want to see if it's got worse.

I'm not here very much at present, but I keep meaning to do a short Sacred Harp post, so I will try to do that soon.

Ashley has a heart murmur and is on blood pressure pills after she went blind at Easter, when we picked them up from the cattery. We caught it in time and she has most of her sight back. She's doing well for 16 years old, still looking like a kitten; she's never been over 3kg.

Me too! They're also in My Neighbour Totoro. I love almost all of the Studio Ghibli films (Tales from Earthsea was underwhelming for anyone who read the books, Princess Kaguya was weird, and I haven't seen Grave of the Fireflies because I know I couldn't handle it). Porco Rosso is a household favourite. They're all on Netflix but we also have several DVD sets and books.

It really was. It's been two months now so I'm handling it better but he left a huge hole.
