Miniature-life calendar

sallymn put me onto this "miniature" calendar created by Japanese artist Tatsuya Tanaka. I am in awe of the work that went into the entries, with their tiny incredibly detailed figures interacting with everyday objects - and there's one a day.

Wow, that's amazing, the creativity and sheer amount of work that goes into each one is mind-boggling.

Ah, he 3D-prints the little figures! He still paints them by hand, and his creativity is stunning. When I used to do art month, I got really stuck for something to do each day, but he's been doing it for years and still is cool and fresh.

Sometimes I had to look really hard to see what the objects were, because he is a fantastic magician.

A new person has volunteered to try to get Naarmamo going again this August. I hope I can contribute at least some of the days.

Greg broke my graphics tablet a while ago, and I need access to my old computer to set up a new one, but that has to wait till our garage is built so we can move all the garage stuff out of the too-small house and I can find my computer. So once again no go this year.
