Yo, Google! It's summer for penguins - no snow outside the Antarctic. We have two colonies right here.

Maybe these penquins come from another world where it's really cold! They aren't any species I recognize- the closest I could find to the depicted cartoon penguins would be the chinstrap (which is an Antarctic species- but I just checked and the current temp in Antarctica temperature hit 63.5 degrees, which sets a new record high.)

Yes, usually they're pretty good at getting it right. I suppose people think of penguins always being in the snow, but we and Australia have lots.

We have Little Blues and Yellow-Eyes here. And seals.

New Zealand once had a really big penguin- nearly 6 ft tall and 220 pounds!
