Oh, sweetheart, I know this has been an ongoing thing with your work, and I wish there was something I could do to help, but you've been handling it gracefully, imo.
I also went out to lunch with two work friends at one of my favorite restaurants: http://www.mcguiresirishpub.com/ We had a good time, and then that night I came home with my leftovers for supper (as is usual with McGuire's) and watched Grimm, which I enjoyed.
Saturday, I went to Mom's and did her taxes, and then we ate out that night at a restaurant we'd neither of us been to before: Logan's Roadhouse, where we had excellent food with excellent, friendly service, and just had a very good time.
Sunday, I did chores and read fic and started writing porn for the XMFC Porn Battle, and today, I stayed home work, finished the porn, experimented with cooking lamb chops (never have before, and they were not bad, but not something I'll develop a taste for), and am going to start watching the second season of BBC's Luther with Idris Elba.

Taxes. Oy. But hey, they were followed by a great meal!
I'm not at all find of lamb, but I've occasionally had some good meals (thinly sliced in a salad). Luther looks too dark and depressing for me. I leave the room for anything really upsetting and am happier for it. Idris Elba rocks though.
