For last week's b7friday topic of weather, 100 words, set in season 4, during Rescue.

Ice

"Just our luck," Vila muttered. "It would be winter."

"It isn't, actually." Avon didn't bother to turn around. "We're quite a way south and it's late summer."

"Oh, wonderful." If they didn't find shelter in the next few weeks, provided the links didn't get them first, then they might as well have died in the base with--

He didn't want to think about Cally. He kicked at a patch of snow. Frozen rain, that was. When summer came again, it would melt. Maybe the numbingly cold ice inside him would too, and he would at last be able to cry.
