I put my cats in the cattery today [sniff]; the worst part of going on holiday. Of course, the best part about coming back is picking them up.

In the meantime, while waiting for some late-night last-minute laundry to dry before I got to bed, I've been playing with a virtual cat. He purrs and meows and bats at the mouse, and his irises get larger the faster you move it. Very cute but I still miss the real thing.
