LOTR and quarries
LOTR tickets went on sale today and I got in fast. We got good seats for the first day, which is the 18th here. Yay!
And Stig of the Dump is on TV this afternoon. I've never seen it, but I loved the book when I was a kid. We're recording it--we've never grown up, either of us. I hope it's the old series Greg saw and not the new one they're showing in the UK now, which they've updated to the present, internet and all. I might be a big kid but I'm a purist as well.
The BBC must have been beside themselves with delight at a series which was actually meant to be set in a quarry!
