Off to Christchurch

I've been on an intensive 3-day course which was stimulating and fun but also very tiring so I haven't been able to catch up with everyone let alone write anything. I even worked late tonight just to try to get most of the work done that had piled up in those three days, and pretty much succeeded. I'm taking Monday off after we get back (Sunday night) to have a quiet relaxing day to myself.

The cats are in the boarding cattery which always makes me feel sad; the place is so empty and strange without them. The best part of coming home is seeing them again.

We leave early tomorrow morning which means I'll have to be up at silly o'clock; oh joy. My Kindle now has some good long fanfic on it though, so I'm ready for almost anything.

Mmm, fanfic! :) I didn't know you could get fanfic on the Kindle. I don't have a Kindle, actually, so it's not relevant to me, but it's nice to know!

You just use the Download button on AO3 and save to the Kindle as if it's a flash drive. I had some excellent Sherlock fic for the plane and the two hours free I happened to get. :-)
