The bravest little hobbit of them all

I've seen it and it was wonderful! I want to go back and see it again. [uses icon of Vila looking like a nervous Bilbo]

It's almost 3.30am and I have to work today so I'm off to bed. I'll post more tomorrow.

Hurrah! Hoping to see it on Boxing Day (we're planning on the 2D version as we think 3D will make us feel ill!)

Ooh! So glad you thought it was good! I've got tickets for the 16th but I'm starting to get nervous about whether or not we'll make it into town on that night, as the weather forecast indicates there might be a snowstorm... :-/

*Envious* but hoping to see it soon. Glad you enjoyed it :)

I'm glad to see enthusiastic reviews, because my heart sank a wee bit at the three-movies announcement. The sweetie and I hope to go see it before the end of the week, so here's hoping. :-)

Oh, I will go before the end of the year at the very least... *solemn vow* Though admittedly refunds bothers me less at the moment than pure childish impatience. I want to see it now!

But a weather forecast five days in advance is practically no better than hearsay, yes? (Or so I'm telling myself.) I'll keep my fingers crossed... :-)

So far the only 3D film, out of the ten or so I've seen, where I felt that the 3D had made a big difference was "Avatar".

Wow! I envy you! I'd like to go to see it at least within this year... but I'm not sure for I hate the crowded theatre. Anyway I'm looking forward to it!! :D

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2012-12-11 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
The cinema wasn't very crowded, maybe half full? There were lots of people in the lobby but most went to the 3D version. Can you take time off work and go when there are fewer people? To avoid having seats kicked and annoyingly loud kids, we pay for the luxury adjustable chairs at big popular films like this. They even serve meals there but we just had coffee and ice creams as they're not distracting.

Glad you enjoyed it. I probably shan't be seeing it till the new year.

Oh lucky you! Of course I want to see it but probably in the new year. I am glad you enjoyed it!

Yay!! I'm hoping to be able to see it next week sometime.

I thought it was great! :D Martin Freeman was perfect as Bilbo.

Will be posting a review probably tomorrow. It was good to see Middle Earth again.

Wasn't he! I was reading the book today and I could just hear his voice. [wants to hug Bilbo]
