Day 5 - Orange cat

I've done two of my little wooden Thai cats in past years: the blue one and the wooden one. Here's another one I bought for $1 at a charity garage sale.

Orange cat

With its heavy eyebrows and jowls it reminds me of President Nixon. He sits by the blue one and is about twice the size.

She is wonderful! I can remember your other Thai cats too.
This one has a lovely sarong, very Thai-like. And her expression is really very funny!I love the bright colours.

Oh my God, she does look like Nixon. (The Nixon from Doctor Who, in my head, who is marginally better than the historical one.)

I love the bright colors, but I wish you hadn't said Nixon :) Do you keep all your Thai cats together at home?

They are all so cool! =) I like the orange one the most. The blue is a close second.

I like his pattern too. I can't decide if it's starfish or flowers. He has a pink and a blue one of the other side.

I think he's fallen a few times. They're made of very light wood and he's missing paint in a couple of places but i couldn't resist anyway.

I have them spread through two rooms (three if you count carved ones in a more realistic style) but I do like the blue and orange together.

A very strange breed but it seems to be a widespread Thai and Indonesian style. :-)

Thanks! I think they're starfish but they might be meant to be flowers. I like the seaside connection though.

I love the colours on them! I also have some rather elegant black and gold ones.
