PicoWriMo

People are talking about NaNoWriMo and other writing challenges for November, and once again I'm doing the well named [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo. It's a good way of getting myself to write a story of over 5000 words in the month, but members use it for anything: novels in progress, theses, essays etc.

I'll probably go for the next instalment in the Lynx series as it will be shorter than the other ideas I have.

I was wondering if you might use pico to try writing some original fic?

Maybe when I've finished Lynx; there are only two more instalments to go. It's rather hanging over me. Besides, I don't have anything that less than a novel in my head. :-P

I'm still swithering... I want to, but since they moved the closing date for applications back to 1 November, guess what's the worst month of the year???

It can be 5000... or 500. :-)

Mutoid stuff! :-)

Looking forward to it. I will watch and read and cheer you on. That's what I do to all the writer-people on my f-list in November. Oh, and offer them cookies.
