I toyed with it being Vila with the cup and Avon drinking through a straw, but the ABC needed more girls. Anyway, maybe the artificial gravity got turned off suddenly. :-)

I love that - and the way her bunches are floating out too.

The green/orange striping on 'is for' is a little tricky though. The tones are very similar so even fairly mild red-green colour blindness would make them hard to distinguish and the edges of the letters lack clarity.

I'd have to redo some with things that aren't original, like the Hyperdrive spaceship and the Toy Story alien. I was going to add some Star Trek into a couple. but might make those more generic.

Do you know a publisher who might look? I have a list of kids' ones in the UK. I just need to get my courage up.

It was going to be Vila and Avon, but I decided the series needs a good mix of gender and race. I didn't even try to draw him as Vila, just a redhead, but I suppose the expression is him. :-)

I gave her pigtails because doing a big halo of hair was harder. :-)

It's actually green-bright pink, but it must look orange due to the contrast. I was just going for opposite colours. The edges look fine to me; I just didn't outline them.

He wasn't meant to be, though I did have the idea of using him and Avon till I decided to go for a good gender and race mix in the series.

Thanks! It doesn't make a lot of sense, because how did he pour the tea in the first place? Maybe he had cling film over it and thought he could drink it fast enough. :-)
