Now that's just the icing

Just to add insult to injury, today is beautiful: pleasantly cool, dry, and sunny. I bet yesterday's wine and food festival organisers and stall holders are even more pissed off than I am.

Apparently we shouldn't breathe a sigh of relief about the weather yet either: the heat and humidity will be back. Oh joy. It was like Singapore last week. I'll enjoy this while we have it though.

It's been raining at the croquet (http://www.croquet.org.nz/associations/canterbury/transtasman/8to9feb.html) as well. It's being held at Palmerston, I don't know if that's anywhere near you.

It was like that here last weekend too. I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures (22C) and low humidity (50%) today though.
