Stargate Universe looks very interesting (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Universe), and I'm delighted we'll still have an SF series, though why do the women have to be stunningly beautiful? [rolls eyes] Also, I wish them very good luck with "exploring the truly alien, and avoiding the rubber faced English-speaking one". SG1 did well with the Unas, so it can be done (though all those English-speaking medieval cultures got to me). I'm also pleased that we won't have a dominant villain race; in fact it sounds almost Star Trekish.
