I've knitted the Moebius scarf (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Sewandreap/moebius-scarf---the-original). The first few rows feel very tight when you're knitting them but it does become easier as it progresses. I found working in blocks of about 6 stitches knit, followed by 6 purl and reversing after a few rows worked well as a reversible pattern, but you do have to be sure that you have the correct number of stitches when you set up.
