Maybe half of that is right. Patient however is not a word people associate with me, and I'm not sure about the last bit either, given that my last boss wanted to send me on a learn-how-to-be-a-bouncy-extrovert course.

In other news, the guy came to install the Venetian blinds in the living room, and he's taken two of the seven away to be altered; one was too wide, and one was too long. Damn. So the Roman blinds are staying in place till he comes back next week. Also, they made them in the glossy off-white when I'd asked for matt, but I'll live with them and a partial refund rather than wait another month for new ones.

I don't know I rather enjoyed drama classes at school. (Or didn't he have acting lessons in mind. You can't learn to be an extrovert you either are or you aren't, unless you can act!)

I love acting! People something think I'm an extrovert because I do, but being someone else is so freeing and fun. Actually quite a few actors are very introverted in RL.

And no, I couldn't be someone else all day; I'd slip out of character every time I did something technical, and it would be tiring never being myself.

Yeah, like I'm going to learn to be someone else when I've been me all my life.

It is annoying. The consultant chose the glossy colour and I said I preferred matt, but her choice went through even though I was very definite. As for the measurements, it's an old house and the windows probably aren't even. The one where the blind was two wide is actually 10mm wider in the middle.

But hey, if you get a refund for the error, that will be nice. I can live with these looking different from the ones in the next room.

Blind measuring is tricky. When I ordered mine, I measured the space top, middle and bottom, left, right, and center. Then take the smallest measurement of the three for the width and the longest measurement of the three for the length. It was a bit nervous-making because if you send the wrong measurements it's your fault & no refund.

Fortunately, I did them all right.

Most parties, of course, are an exception to that. This is why I love Mole's parties so much. Mole's guests are all geeky introverts, and it therefore goes swimmingly. :-)
