Vic was named after Vic Fontane the virtual lounge singer in DS9 because of his outfit. Claudia was pressed against the top of my head till I got up.

To observe Jasmin is to change her. She moves constantly if she's not asleep, so when I get the camera out, I have to take my luck. I'm hoping to get one of her curled up as she looks adorably kittenish, but if she hears me coming, she'll wake up and want to play.

She has prettier ones, but it's hard to get one of her because she doesn't stay in one place for long when awake, and she always wakes up when I approach with the camera. I'll have to get Greg to take one of her in my lap.

She looks so leggy and not very kittenish there, but she is really: just a cute little scrap, and the colour of a lion.

She is very much a baby still. My photos don't show how small and cute she is; she looks all legs there. I will have to get more; perhaps one when she's quiet in my lap, or sitting in what I call the Bast pose.

She's a cute little scrap--very cuddly too--and really a lot cuter and kittenish than she looks there, all stretched out. I will try to get better ones of her, but she's hard to photograph when she's so playful.

Vic seems mildly interested, but Claudia's growly, just as she was with Tessa at first. She'll take about two weeks, going by past cats, to accept Jasmin; she's already sniffed her with interest when Jasmin was on my lap or eating.
