Today's entry for the naarmamo National Art Making Month challenge is Avon.

I did him in the same style as the original characters for kalinda001 in case she wants to add him to the set. If so, I have a Vila I did two years ago who would match, and a Cally will follow in a few days. As will icons if wanted. :-)

I based it on S3 Avon (probably Volcano) so it does! It's too dorky in S1 and too gameshow host in S4. :-P

Aha, very Avon down to the stupidly difficult to draw eyebrows and the epic lips. The paintish style looks good with his hair too~ I like.

He's got deep-set eyes which I think make his eyebrows hard; they disappear into shadow. The hair was an experiment which worked. :-)

Cally is next. Can I do her hair, I wonder? I'll have to master curls since half the crew have them. :-P

Ahh yes, that would explain why Avon's eyebrows are such a pain. That and the fact that Vila spoils me with his super defined ones.

Omg, Cally's hair should be a challenge yeah. I tried doing Blake once, it was kind of a disaster @@. It'd be easier to do with color though I think. I was doing a quick sketch so his hair came out massive.

Twin brown pools! ;-) Vila does have a good line in innocent looks, and in many ways I think he is. There's more than a touch of the adolescent in a world of adults about him.

Like the way Avon is, but faced the other way. If it's the same way, I'll have to flip the image and it may not look like you.

BTW is the same size as the Avon one OK? If not, I could blow Avon up and hope he doesn't go too fuzzy. :-)
