And a light sabre would be nice

Just what I need for my silver Honda Integra LIBR8R: a flux capacitor!

Alex wants photon torpedoes in our car. ;)

[identity profile] sallymn.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
I'd love to see one in a shabby, slightly dorky car...

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'd get one, but then I'd feel compelled to drive at 88mph everywhere, and probably get pulled over for speeding. :)

[identity profile] kalinda001.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
I want one! I want one! I'm glad that you don't have to fall off a toilet to get one.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
I'd settle for a neutron blaster for those pursuit ships bastards who pass me on the inside.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
LOL! Only if they could catch you 'in time'. ;-)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
No, just spend more money than I can afford. :-P

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
With a fusion burner on the back you can feed with the parts that fall off!

[identity profile] glitterboy1.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:04 am (UTC)(link)
Cool!

So, if it actually worked, what would you go back and fix? Or go forward to find out? :-)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:34 am (UTC)(link)
I think I'd go forward. I'd rather not meddle with the past and in the future... domes, space travel, flying cars! Who needs roads?

[identity profile] linda-joyce.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
Sliver Queen wants one too and if we buy one we can go back to the 1980 but £20 in a high interest account then when it reaches the £100 we get it out go back and deposit it in the same account and so on until we are millionaires and can retire in peace. Mind I want photon torpedoes too for the idiots who don't signal at roundabouts.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
Actually yeah, buying IBM or Apple stock would be a nice idea too, but I'd still be nervous that that little change might become a huge one which might not be for the better.

[identity profile] linda-joyce.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:52 am (UTC)(link)
I agree, if it was real I wouldn't even go back to yesterday and change what I had for lunch, I read far to many Time Travel creates bad worlds to risk it. Even the way Doctor who blithely meddles doesn't encourage me.

And he's made some appalling screw-ups as Nine and Ten.

[identity profile] linda-joyce.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:59 am (UTC)(link)
In deed he has.

[identity profile] vandonovan.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 10:25 am (UTC)(link)
Oh man, that's what I need!

I use to have a bumper sticker that said "Flux Capacitor Fluxing" on my old car. I miss it.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
And if you had this, it would be true!

[identity profile] vandonovan.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 10:42 am (UTC)(link)
I want it so! Only, I have not the money, alas!

[identity profile] san-valentine.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Time travel seemed to work OK for Bill and Ted. They played about all over time and it worked out fine.

Maybe the secret is to have a Californian phone box for your time machine, not a British police box.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Me neither. But you have the perfect icon instead!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
And no god complex!

[identity profile] vandonovan.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
BTTF is such a childhood love. :D
