Wet Bath

After all the wonderful hot weather since we arrived, today was appropriately wet for our visit to Bath. However that didn't matter in the Roman baths or in Demuth's, the vegetarian restaurant I've been looking forward to ever since I heard about it from spacefall. We had a yummy two-course lunch there and even the dedicated carnivore of our party, linda_joyce, said she could turn vege for food like that.

We're off to Portmeirion and environs tomorrow so Greg can feed his fannishness.

Hello, Cur! I had a feta, spinach, and cherry tomato tart followed by a vegan chocolate fudge cake with soy ice-cream (my ice-cream of choice back home). Greg had Malaysian laksa melak then black rice pudding. Linda had a goat's cheese ciabatta and am apple and cinnamon strudel. Everything was yummy--well, I always nick some of Greg's and Linda was highly impressed with hers.

BTW Cur, tell Blake and Avon that Vila's socks don't smell. Vila is very hurt at the aspersions cast at him in his absence. He's sulking now.
