New Stargate series

They may have cancelled SG1 (which is a pity because I'm enjoying season 9, and Claudia Black turns out to be a great comedian) but it seems there's a third series planned. They're also talking about some straight-to-DVD films like the Babylon 5 ones we're promised.

As for season 9, I have two little spoiler questions. If Daniel and Vala were connected by the bracelets and the lingering effects thereof and had to stay near each other to remain healthy, how come Daniel's fine now Vala's presumably in the Ori's galaxy? And does she come back soon? She's a great character.

I watched those/that episode back in the summer on Sky when I was recording things for Beth when she and Jill were away but my brain must have skimmed over that plot hole. My mind says every thing was fine as soon as they got back into their own bodies and Vala removed the bracelets but my memory is a very unreliable part of my brain.

They thought it was fine and Vala went through the gate, but it wasn't. They had to stick together till it wore off, but I suppose it did. Maybe I just missed that bit.
