A not so silly wee film

The first episode of the Silly Wee Films web series Night Is Day is up on the series site. It's about a reluctant Glaswegian superhero called Jason Mackenzie, and the first ep is only 11 minutes long; check it out. [livejournal.com profile] labingi put me on to it, and when I commented saying I'd enjoyed it, one of the guys who made it, [livejournal.com profile] ecossefilmmaker, replied saying that they have a forum where you can discuss the series with the cast and crew, and a poll where you can vote for your favourite episode 1 character. Episode 2 should be out on either on the 9th or 16th of this month.

[Edit:] It looks as if you have to pay to see the rest.

I'm following you every where...sorry!

Thanks for the link.

It's only £2 to watch each episode (in order for us to make more and possibly a 2nd series!) but you can subscribe (http://www.sillyweefilms.co.uk/nid-register1.html) to the whole first series for only £8.50 for all 6 episodes.

Cheers.

Yep, I saw that. I haven't done so yet because the NZ dollar isn't worth much against the pound, but I probably will.

A few people have done it so far, which is fantastic, but I'm just happy that so many sci-fi fans are watching episode 1 and liking it enough to tell more people.

We just hope that they watch more of the series as everybody working on it has worked their asses off on episodes 1 to 3, and half of episode 4, they all deserve credit and recognition for their hard work.

I'm just the writer and the director, I'm happy knowing people like it :p

Thanks.

I'm very impressed with the professionalism, esp on such a tiny budget. I hope more people watch it.

Thank you :)

As long as everybody who watches it tells another 5 people to watch it then we're doing well.

I'm in the process of writing episode 5, and now that I've had feedback for episode 1, it's easier to give the audience what they want hehe.

Thanks again.

Help! I want to send you a Holmes & Watson card before the deadline, but I've just realised I don't have your postal addy. Can you let me know so I can get mum to post yours tomorrow?

cheers!

Eep: there's a deadline? I haven't sent any overseas yet, mainly because I haven't made any. I am so slack. It's:

9 College Road
St Johns
Auckland 1072

Cheers! The 'xmas rush' deadline for us is the 8th for NZ and Aus, and the 12th for USA/Canada. I'm not quite so worried as mine aren't christmas cards as such, but I would like them to make it in before the new year :D

I'm not sure what our deadline is. I'd better design a card PDQ.

What's your address BTW? :-)
