Here's my story for the Blake's 7 AU/AR ficathon

Guilt

I wrote it for pseudnik whose request was:

"Blake has lied about the death of Jenna (for whatever reason). She is alive and well and returns to Gauda Prime after the events of Blake. She finds... well, surprise me."

I hope I did. I don't think that Blake lying about a friend to someone he was testing is necessarily AU though, but you may take my reading of Blake and Tarrant as being so.

Thank you! I've been wanting to write a Jenna-centred story for some time.

Jenna, Aeryn, and Soolin, all kicking arse on one ship! I think Vila might be well-advised to leave unless they adopt him as a pet or mascot with optional flying throne.

I must write more Jenna. It's odd that she wasn't my favourite given that she fulfils so many of my dreams, but it was always Vila and Cally.

I find that she didn't inspire me much in the show, but on paper I think she's fantastic. She's just left so undeveloped in the episodes that even the good character outline doesn't do it.

So, yes, you must write more Jenna. :)

The ship doesn't need *everybody* to kick arse as long as the Minimum Daily Requirement of arsekicking is supplied. But Vila would definitely be well-advised to memorize the anti-sexual-harassment policy posted in a conspicuous place in the Deal With It.

Jenna was lovely... Avon and Blake are crying out to me to write a sequel in which they pick up where this story ended (I can't help it, they know I'm weak where unhappy endings for them are concerned). I'm putting my fingers in my ears and not listening to them...la... la... la... bother... now they're *looking* at me. *sigh*

If you tell them to leave me alone, they'll listen to you, I'm sure. :^)

Good to read an AU/AR type story, especially a PGP one, that is so believable. This really could have been the first episode of season five.

I loved the idea of Jenna just leaving Blake and Avon to it and forming her own crew.

They're both now starting from similar places: distrust, betrayal, manipulation (Avon planned to use Blake) so you never know: they may work it out, esp without the others around. Plus they have sensible and faithful Deva.

I just started writing with just the idea of Tarrant in mind, and this is how it went. They get minds of their own, you know. And it's a hopeful ending for Jenna and those she took with her. :-)

Oh, I know they worked it out. I think they just wanted me to write smutty bits for them, and I really am busy, trying to set up the Virtual Convention. :^)
